HAI Exists to Remove Barriers to Arts and Culture

Since 1969, HAI has reached over 12 million New Yorkers, from school children to senior citizens, who had been shut out of our city’s cultural mainstream. Now, after a six month period of financial restructuring, HAI has resumed services with a new Board of Directors, a new Executive Director, and several dedicated, long serving staff. As HAI rebuilds, we hope that those of you who were so critical to HAI’s success over the years will continue to provide support, so that New Yorkers in need of the healing role of the arts can once again enjoy the benefits of these important services.
